Transvalue, the Appraisal of Social Bodies is a new work by the dance project FlucT debuting at Fitness Center for Arts & Tactics July 20-21st. Transvalue is a critical exercise to expose and exorcise the effects of capitalist values on our bodies, minds, and, specifically, our ability to commune. FlucT's methods are informed by mixed media strategies, including choreography, photography, installation, and immersive performance. At Transvalue, the audience is to be led through five rooms, each focused on a medium, where they will be further engaged by a mix of synchronized choreography and informed improvisation. Transvalue features over 14 moving artists and 7 original sound arts/mixes that become revealed as a narrative while walking through.
Participating Performers: Alex Crotta, Ana Lieberman, Billy Fortini, Bradford Kessler, Ciara Clements, Genevieve Belleveau, James Thomas Marsh, Kei Kreutler, Monica Mirabile, Sara Blazej, and Sigrid Lauren.

Original sound art and mixes from: Schwarz, Dan Deacon, Spirit Guide, Logan Takahashi (Teengirl Fantasy), David Wightman (Extreme Animals), gorgeousTaps & Sigrid Lauren.
